The Southeast Genetics Consumer Alliance provides an integral link between Southeast Genetics Collaborative activities and consumers. The Consumer Alliance formed during summer 2007 and has already begun a host of critical and invaluable activities. The group develops its own priorities and works with the Southeast Genetics Collaborative to ensure that the patient and family voice is heard and needs are met.
